Tonya Blackwell 

Tonya,is one of the owners of CAST & Crowns and she is the Business Administrator.She began her business skills in high school at Montgomery Central. Tonya,was hired by a local law firm her senior year in high school to work in finances. She learned very quickly what it took to run things properly. She also, ran the office for C Blackwell construction for many years. She is the very proud mama of Tyler,Hunter and Sager her three children. Sager,her daughter is just like her and Tonya loves watching her dance.She is very close to her mama Connie Black and we all love when Mrs Connie comes around the center. One of her favorite foods is chicken salad. She loves to be at home doing crafts. Tonya, enjoys shopping for others and giving gifts. She also, has an amazing talent for interor decorating.

 


Christy Corley Sanders

Christy, is the Co-owner and Artistic Director at CAST & Crowns Performing Arts Center. She has long been involved in the arts. Even as little girl she knew she wanted to be on stage. Her nick name was,"Twinkle Toes." Mrs. Christy, loves her students dearly and seeing the joy in their faces when they accomplish something thrills her soul. However, she truly strives to be a teacher and a mentor and not their buddy. As a mother and a teacher even with her youngest daughter Chalan,at CAST she is a student like everyone else. Christy,has trained under many teachers in dance. The late Rosemary Norris was her home studio teacher. She studied under Ballet Mistress Albertine Maxwell in Nashville,TN. and Ballet Master David Howard. As she began aspiring more as a teenager at 17 her mother took her to NYC Broadway Dance Center to study classes there. Each year after that she went once a year to take classes and attend dance conventions. She has studied under Marcus Alford,Gus Giordano and Nan Giordano,Frank Hatchett,Shelia Barker and Densil Adams. Through Teacher workshops she has had classes usnder SYTYCD judges/choreographers/dancers:Denise Wall,Mia Michaels,Ade Obayomi,Melissa Sandoval to name a few. One her greatest thrills was when she was in NYC a few years ago and was able to take class with the late great Luigi. Christy, has students that have received scholarships to Broadway Dance Center,Steps In NYC,Glamour Costumes Catalogue,Universal Dance Spirit Catalogue,Collegiate Scholarships in dance,danceteams,actind and singing. Her alumni can be seen in Disney Movies,Cruise Lines with Disney and Royal Carribean,Country Music Videos,TV Shows, Theme Parks,and Studio owners right here in Clarksville. She also,has a very strong back ground in pageants. She began competing when she was 11years old. She was the 1985 Miss TN Coed and on to Hawaii to make the Top 11.She also, worked with The Miss America Organization for 10 years in their trade shows as a model and a singer. She attended Austin Peay State Un. on a Performing Arts Scholarship. She Attened school in Erie,Penn. and Western Ky. She graduated from Louisina Christian College with her BA. She was a Dance-Theatre Major adn Vocal Performance Minor. She herself has been in Oklahoma,Annie,The King and I,Guys and Dolls,Carousel,The Music Man to name a few. She worked at Opryland Theme Park and was was the lead dancer and one of the actors in George Mabry's Clarksville Moving On.She Later received her MA. Christy, is accredited and certified by both Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America.She has has many National,Regional,State and Local Queens. She is the TN/KY Worlds Miss Tourism State Director and The National Assistant Director. She is very involved in The Community Church of Clarksville as the children's youth director and a choir member. She loves to shop,watch old MGM Musicals,spend time with her family and little dog Sassy. She loves going to the beach to truly relax. Her favorite past time is getting to sleep. The most important thing in her life is her Faith in God.

  


Barbara P Corley

Mrs Corley, is a retired English,Theatre and Speech teacher from Clarksville High School. In Fact,when she retired she was the one that recommended for Barbara Wesner to be the New Theatre Teacher at CHS. Barbara,was married to the late Rev. Dr William H Corley for 50 years. She is the very proud mother of her 4 children Dee Dee,Rob,Chip and Christy. And the proud grandmother( aka Nonnie) to her 7 grandchildren. She was inducted to the Tennessee Theatre Teachers Hall of Fame and was also a Career Ladder Teacher under Lamar Alexander. Mrs. Corley, is loved dearly by her students past and present. She loves facebook to be able to keep up with those that have moved away. She is very involved in her Church,Community Church located at Jack Miller Boulevard. She is a choir member and one of the women directors. Her favorite candy bar is a Payday. She has a very furry companion Lasa dog at home named Misty. Barbara, loves to travel,be with her family and especially her Chalan.She is an amazing woman and example to others.

 


Justin Byrk

Justin began his dance training at a very early age. His background in dance started under Cindy Bedwell in Clarksville. He also, has an extensive background in gymnastics with an emphasis on floor tumbling. Justin, came to CAST in October of 2015 and was immediately taken in by the students. His work ethic is wonderful. He teaches hip hop and acrobatics/tumbling. He is trained in all forms of dance. He also,teaches a leap class and improv.                                                                                               Justin, is also The CAST Show Troupe Assistant Coach with Mrs.Christy. He did competitive dancing growing up and was a Regionl/National Winner/Champion many times growing up. He offers adult hip hop classes and personal training one on one. He is married and has one dog. He enjoys Italian Food and movies.

Justin, is a favorite with all of the dancers at CAST. He is a strong role model and his work ethic is fabulous. He takes pride in his classes that he teaches and demands respect and hardwork. We are very happy to have Justin at CAST.


Stormi Wagley

Stormi,is the very happy wife of Kyle Wagley and the proud mama of her adorable baby girl Kinzie. Stormi,has been loved from the first day she came to CAST. She attended college on a collegiate danceteam scholarship and upon moving to Clarksville via being a Military wife she quickly found dance opportunities. Stormi,auditioned for the Titans and was a three year Veteran and a captain. While on the Titans Squad,Stormi joined five other team mmembers on a USO Tour to Kuwait. Stormi,visited Camp Arifjan,Camp Virginia,Camp Bluering,Camp Morrell,Ali Al Salem Air Base(The Rock) and Camp Patriot. Upon touring she was perfoming in a variety show that had dancing,singing and interactive skits.She teaches conditioning,technique,hip hop and pom pom. When we attend competitions Stormi,is always  there to do makeup and hair.She loves her doggies and eating good meals. She is a strong strong athlete in running. Stormi,has a smile that warms your heart and sh ehas a strong faith in God.

Jenna Davis

Jenna Davis, began dancing with Mrs Christy at a very age. Jenna took classes with Mrs Lana as well. But her freshman year in high school she returned to Mrs Christy. Jenna,was a competitive dancer in solos,duets and groups winning many honors.Jenna graduated in 2014 from Rossview High School an was a 4 year Rossview Danceteam member and was given the Chemistry award. Jenna,the summer of 2014 found another love in pageanst was crowned World's Miss TN Volunteer. Attending the nationals she was 1st runner up and the interview winner. She has since won the new State World's Miss Tennessee Tourism and will be going to World Finals the end of July. She has become a right hand to Mrs Christy. Jenna,is skilled in all forms of dance and also many do not know she also sings,acts and plays the piano. Jenna,is loved by the kids and is a very encouraging instructor but knows how to push them too. Jenna, has dance with the Tennesse Theatre of Dance,she has taken Master Classes under Justin Jared of Step It Up 1-2- & 3,Marcus Alford,Barry Youngblood,Dennis Caspary and this past Summer in Charleston SC. she was won of the Applause Nationals Danceteam Performers to open the Grand National Finals. Jenna,has a strong faith the Lord and is an excellent role model for the kids. She will be a sophomore at Austin Peay State University in the fall. Jenna, is also the assistant pageant coach at CAST. She loves to shop,workout,spend time with her family and babysit. She is full of life and when you meet her it is contagious. Jenna, describes herself as country girl at heart with style and class.

  


Leiah Thompson

Leiah Thompson is our CAST & Crowns Front Desk Manager.She came to CAST upon looking for a modeling program for her lovely daughter LilyAnn. We are very happy to have her with us. She is a wonderful cook, she enjoys reading,being with her family and her many household pets. Leiah, is a bowling league every Wednesday night and has been for several years.She like Mrs.Christy loves the color of hot pink and Mrs Leiah will tell you she loves sweets. In her spare time she likes to shop and travel. But there is no place like home. Each Summer,she is the brain behind a lot of our musical sets.Leiah, is a strong christian and she enjoys sharing her faith.Her favorite food is Mexican. Finally, she is the very proud mama of Matthew,Tommy,Nathan and LilyAnn. Barry Thompson, is her husband,best friend and high school sweetheart.

 


Stephanie Clark Longo

Stephanie Nicole Clark Longo,is a true asset and blessing to CAST & Crowns Performing Arts Center. Mrs Stephanie, comes to teach a Homeschool Ballet Class and will set pieces of choreography. She grew up in Virginia Beach and began dancing as a little girl. She studied under Russian Ballet Master and choreographer Andrei Yemelianov. She continued her dance studies in New York City with The Julliard School of the Arts, and then the Joffery Ballet and The American Ballet Theatre. Stephanie, was able to learn from the most prestigous choreographers and talented teachers in the world. Stephanie, attended the Youth American Ballet Grand Prix Internationally and placed as one of the top students in the world.                                   Shortly, after moving to Nashville Miss Stephanie was hired by The Nashville Ballet to be a full time company member working with Paul Vasterling. Stephanie, was a NFL Titans Cheerleader/Dancer for the 2013/ 2014 and for 2015 she became a Predators Dancer. She judges for many dance competitions. Dance USA Talent Competition has also hired Stephanie to be their National Dance USA Danceteam Choreographer. Stephanie, has an amazing work ethic and her teaching skills are wonderful. Stephanie,choreographed our CAST Show Troupe Production routine for 2014/2015 with the Troupe winning many Top Honors all year. Including 2 golden tickets to the World Dance Championships.             Some of Stephanie's credits include:Scary Movie 5,Jason Aldean,Dreamworks Srektacular,Disney's Coco Jone's 2012 Tour,SYTYCD Season 7 Top 20,Brantley Gilbert,Bubba Sparxx and PBS "The Zinghoppers." Some fun facts about Stephanie are: she loves Chik Fil A,and candy. She absolutley loves her two little doggies and shopping. She is married to Actor/musician Kody Longo and they have a new baby girl name Lyla.

Stephanie Clark

 

, originally from Virginia Beach, began her dance training under Russian Ballet master and choreographer Andrei Yemelianov. She continued her dance studies in New York City at the Juilliard School of the Arts, Joffrey Ballet School and the American Ballet Theater, learning from the most prestigious choreographers and dance instructors. She also competed internationally at the Youth American Grand Prix, placing as one of the top ballet students in the world.

 

Shortly after; Ms. Clark moved to Nashville after receiving a contract with the Nashville Ballet’s company working professionally under director Paul Vasterling. Stephanie is now working full time as a professional industry dancer, model, actress, dance instructor and choreographer in the south. Some credits include: Scary Movie 5, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Bubba Sparxxx, PBS TV show “The Zinghoppers”, Coco Jones 2012 Disney Tour,and Dreamworks’ “Shrektacular”.
